I’m so glad you stopped by – I have something really exciting to share!

My name is Laurie and I am actually a RN – so why should you listen to me?  Because I took almost a whole year off to try and make a living from home.  Affiliate Marketing was a natural choice because, according to all of the hype out there, it is easy, inexpensive and will make you a millionaire overnight!  Not!                                                                                                                                                                                                      

What I found was that affiliate marketing isn’t easy, and although it is relatively inexpensive it isn’t really cheap!  It doesn’t work overnight either!

But!  It does work if you learn the right methods – the right way.  I started my journey after watching a late-night infomercial at about 2 am one night – or morning – when I couldn’t sleep from worrying about bills and money and just life in general.  This guy on TV caught my attention because he was young and excited and seemed to know his stuff!  Of course I’m talking about Anthony Morrison-the guy who became a millionaire at 23 or something like that.  Amazing.  I’m always impressed by people who build their own businesses and I’m doubly impressed when they are young – good for him!

http://www.alexa.com/This is the site we are all trying to get ranked with – the lower the number the better the ranking!  But that isn’t all this site is about – it has several good topics like what is selling ‘hot’ right now and which sites are at the top of the heap.

http://www.MarketingTerms.comAn internet marketing resource that hooks you up with a dictionary, acronym finder, references and more.  Can even send you to sites with more marketing resources.

http://www.archive.org/web/web.php This is the link to the WayBack Machine – a website that has archived over 150 billion websites from 1996 to a few months ago.  This is mostly for fun – but is a novel way to do research on other pages, or even your own.  I found out that someone had one of my websites names back in 2008 and was able to look at pages from then!
